Sophisticated weapons used with no trust in the living God will in the end be no match for unsophisticated weapons used with trust in a powerful demon god. Let's hope and pray that America and her leaders realize this before it's too late.

The October 28 New York Times features a story about how our Muslim enemies in Iraq and Syria have acquired sophisticated surface-to-air missiles, some of Chinese manufacture and others made by Russia.

The real takeaway, though, from the article is the following pull quote. Referring to written instructions regarding the use of these missiles, we are told, "The authors urged 'strong confidence in God and composure,' and certainty 'that this operation will cause a disaster to the foes and destroy their arrogance.'" (Emphasis mine.)

By "God," of course, the Muslims refer to Allah, the god of Islam. Now make no mistake: Allah is not the God of Christianity, for our God has a Son while their god does not. Muslims regard the claim that Allah has a Son as rank heresy and blasphemy. In many Muslim countries, they will cut your head off for even believing it.

On top of that, Christians worship Christ himself as God. Muslims do not. So it is plainly self-evident that we do not worship the same God our Muslim enemies do.
The god of Islam is not the "Creator" the Founders referred to in the Declaration, who alone is the source of all our inalienable civil and human rights. The god of Islam is a different god altogether. If the Scriptures are to be trusted - and they are - Allah is not a "god" at all but a powerful demon whose throne is in the bottomless pit of satanic darkness.

As Scripture says, "[W]hat pagans sacrifice, they offer to demons and not to God. I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons" (1 Corinthians 10:20-21).

Here's what is imperative to note. Muslims, in their war on Christian civilization in general and on the United States in particular, understand that they are involved in spiritual warfare. It's their god against ours.
They understand that the conflict is about a lot more than guns and soldiers and tanks and rockets. It is ultimately a battle whose outcome will be determined by the powerful but unseen forces which operate in the unseen world.
So Muslims understand that we are engaged in spiritual warfare. Here's the real question: do we?

You cannot beat something with nothing, and you cannot defeat demonic powers with the arm of the flesh alone. Spiritual battle requires the use of spiritual weaponry. Muslims understand this. I am certain that our president does not. Or if he does, it is a truly alarming possibility that his sympathies may lie more with Islam and its god than with Christianity and its God.

With his relentless attack on Christian expression in the military and his relentless suppression of Christian chaplains, our commander-in-chief is weakening our military in a far more serious way than by reducing funding and troop strength.

George Washington understood clearly that spiritual might was a far more precious military asset to his army than weapons. That's why his first order of business as our first commander-in-chief was to order the appointment of Christian chaplains and to order his troops to attend "divine service" unless they were required to be at their post.
Another commander-in-chief of long ago, who was virtually undefeated in battle, wrote, "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord (lit. 'Yahweh') our God" (Psalm 20:7).

Our defeat of the Nazis in WWII came in no small measure through our faith in God. FDR himself prayed to Almighty God on national radio as our soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy. Our God proved to be superior in strength to the occult powers Hitler worshiped.

Let's hope - and pray - that America and her leaders realize this before it's too late. If we don't, the flag of Islam may indeed one day fly over the White House.

We've gone from ministering and serving to releasing. Yes, words matter

Release the Kraken!

“Release the Kraken!” is a catchphrase and image macro series based on a memorable quote uttered by Zeus in the 1981 fantasy adventure film The Clash of the Titans as well as the 2010 3D remake. Despite the dramatic delivery of the line in the reboot, the quote was perceived as unintentionally funny and quickly became a target of image macro jokes on the web.

You've heard the word "release" applied to many different cultural contexts, above are two examples. The word 'release' has also been used more frequently these days in Christian situations. "Release" is a frequently used word. It is a very bad word in Christianity. I don't like it.

Why? It isn't used to say that prisoner Barabbas was released. It isn't used to say that Paul was released from jail. It isn't used in the Old Testament way to indicate a release from debt in the Sabbatical Year (Deut 15:1).

The word 'release' is used as a substitute for ministering or serving. When we minister or serve, we are under someone or under an authority. When we release, it means we have the power over something or someone. Here are some examples.

Compassion International has edited their mission statement to say, "our mission of releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name."

What they are saying is that they have the power over poverty and the authority to release from it the people whom they choose, in this case, 'children'. They are not saying they are serving or ministering to children in poverty. They are saying they have the power over poverty.

False teacher Joseph Prince preaches how to "release the anointing into your situation."

Prince is slyly saying that we have an anointing but there is a trick to releasing it. Most false teachers strive to tell you some kind of secret or action or trick to releasing it. However, this mysterious anointing isn't mysterious and it isn't laying dormant until you learn the secret password to having power over it. The anointing is the Holy Spirit in us, and all Christians have the Spirit. (1 John 2:27, more here).

What Prince is saying is not that we submit to the Spirit, or minister in the Spirit, but that we can obtain a certain kind of power that we wield as we wish, for ourselves, into ourselves.

Word faith false prophetess Joyce Meyer tells us "What words you choose will reveal what you believe and release the power of that belief."

She is not saying submit to Jesus in faith and belief, she is saying we have the power to choose certain words that have power in and of themselves, and moreover, these words can release certain powers over myself at my behest, timing, and choosing.

And so on. There is a big difference between ministering and releasing.

Do we have power to release anointings, blessings, beliefs, finances, health, cures, or anything else? No.

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. (Romans 13:1)

Pilate said. "Don't you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?" Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. Therefore he who delivered me over to you has the greater sin.” (John 19:10b-11)

To suppose that we have any power on our own is unbiblical.

Now, some might argue that these teachers are not false, that they are saying we are releasing power that God grants us. Not so again. We are His servants ... His slaves. Any power in us is from the Holy Spirit. We submit to that power. We serve that power. We minister in that power. God decides when and where His power in us is released, and to what degree. We do not decide when or how to use His power and certainly NOT for our own ends, like to get a bigger house, or a better parking space.

While the false teachers tell you that you have power over things, power enough to release "into your situations", the truth is actually the opposite. The weaker we are, the stronger we are. God shows His power through weakness. Paul wrote,

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

Be aware of the word 'release' and how it is used. It isn't always used in unbiblical contexts. But more and more often, it is.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Here we have God in His most active mode, deliberately weaving every event of our lives together into a tapestry of beneficial effect. He is managing whatever happens to you to somehow benefit you. If you haven’t discovered how a particular experience you’ve had fulfills this promise, ask God to reveal it to you. (Remember, you’re after His perspective, which might differ a little from yours.)

Let’s take the entire passage of Romans 8:28-38, pick out the key words and phrases, and look at each one more carefully to gain the full impact of His promise. I think you’ll soon see why I call them the best verses in the Bible.

The Greek word translated as “the called” in verse 28 is kletos, meaning to be called or invited (as to a banquet). It refers to the Church. The purpose for which we’re called is best described in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians.

According to Paul, God’s purpose in calling us was to create a new race of human (Ephesians 2:15-16).  Although taken from among both the Jews and the Gentiles, this new race would be called the Church and will have a destiny that’s different from either of the groups it came from.  Through the Church He would demonstrate the incomparable riches of His grace in ages yet to come (Ephes 2:7) in order that the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms (Ephes. 3:10).

Being called out from among the least worthy, the Church has become the most blessed.
The only coming age that we know about is the Kingdom, because the Bible closes at its end. But this passage hints at an untold number of ages yet to come. And during all of them the Church will shine forth as God’s crowning achievement, His work of art, the highest and best example of His creative capability.

The Church is His consuming desire, set apart by Him as holy and blameless.  He longs for us to know how much He loves us, and so His every word and action has brought us honor and expressed His devotion to us. He gave His life for us and has covered all our imperfections with His love.

Knowing we can’t ever repay Him for what He’s given us, He asks that we live our lives for Him, turning aside from the seductive call of this world, and toward an eternity with Him. It’s called being born again.

What Good Does That Do Me?

When we’re born again a whole new eternity opens up to us, and Paul explained it in the next verses of Romans 8.
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. (Romans 8:29).
The Greek word proginosko is translated foreknew here and means to know beforehand or ahead of time. Understanding the meaning of this word helps solve the man-made problem with the next one, predestined. This Greek word is poorizo and means to determine beforehand or pre-ordain.

As humans, we’re bound by the constraints of time, but God is not. He knows the end from the beginning. Taken together these two Greek words teach us that because He knew before He created Adam that we would choose to accept the pardon His Son bought for us at the cross, He determined at that time  to honor our choice, even though it would be thousands of years before we would make it, and He reserved a place for us in His Kingdom that no one can take away. We were foreknown and predestined to be made over in the image of Christ and to dwell with Him forever.
And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. (Romans 8:30).

The word for “called” is kaleo, a root of the word kletos above. It has a pretty straightforward meaning; to call forth.  At just the right moment in your life, the Lord called upon us to take action on the choice He always knew we would make.

The word we translate as justified is another one of utmost importance in our understanding. It’s dikaioo and means to regard as though innocent. When the Lord saved us, He didn’t just ignore our sins; nor did He only pay the penalty for them. He removed us from them to such an extreme extent that He now considers us to have always been innocent of all charges. It’s as if we never sinned at all. He’s distanced us from them as far as the East is from the West. (Psalm 103:12)

And finally He glorified us. The Greek word is doxazo and it means to render glorious, of good reputation. In His eyes, we’re not an ex-convict who deserves another chance even though our reputation has been blackened by past behavior. No, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Cor. 5:17) because God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Cor. 5:2) Knowing we’ve accepted the pardon He arranged for us, He now considers us to be as righteous as He is, without any stain or blemish, worthy of the highest honor!

What Do You Say To That?

What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:31-32).
If God gave His only Son for us, what will He withhold? What is so much more valuable, more precious to Him than the life of His Son, that He would be unwilling to also give it to us?

Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died – more than that, who was raised to life – is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us (Romans 8:33-34).
In what court can the one who seeks to condemn us appeal God’s findings? Who is superior to God, that he could overrule God’s judgment in our favor? Especially with God’s own Son sitting at His right hand reminding Him (as if He needed reminding) that all our sins were paid for at the cross. If God is our supreme judge, then His Son is our defense attorney, and they’ve already put their heads together and pronounced us innocent. Who can contest that?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:35-38)

It Isn’t Gonna Happen

No force in the Universe is capable of severing the relationship between our Lord and us! Some contracts or agreements we have on Earth automatically terminate upon our death. Not this one. Perhaps some can be cancelled by spiritual powers, good or evil. Not this one. Some can be rendered null and void due either to a present or future violation, or a misrepresentation of facts or circumstances, or wars, or uncontrollable “acts of God.” Not this one. Look as high or as low as you want. Search the Creation from stem to stern. You won’t find anything.

Why? Because we aren’t parties to the agreement The Father and the Son are. We’re merely the beneficiaries. They agreed on the terms and conditions that would purchase our pardon. The Son agreed to die for us, and the Father agreed to forgive us. We simply had to accept their actions as payment in full for our sins to receive the benefit. It’s all we had to do; it’s all we could do. When we did, they confirmed it by the seal of the Holy Spirit, placed within us. The issue now is not our faithfulness, it’s theirs.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession–to the praise of his glory. World Of Channeling Rocked Due To “Resignation” Of “Official Voice Of Heaven”, Channeler, Kathryn E. May

Note from the author of this blog: This post on my FB was sent by a very dear friend of mine. This is encouraging. Please read it carefully and pray for this lady who still has not found the truth and has come to the first step in renouncing invisible entities that she channels to help mankind reach godhood. I was trapped for 14 years in the New Age movement and in the last 3 years of my involvement in it, I started doubting whether it was the way to God when I saw through the broken promises, the discrepancies, and contradictions in the lives of the hindu monks and spiritual teachers that I earnestly believe and followed.

Finally after seeing many of my friends and followers of the Indian guru, all of them in their mid thirties die while they followed faithfully the teachings that were supposed to bring divine health, holiness and divine bliss, in despair I  turned to the Lord Jesus and asked him this simple question: Which way is true, you and the Bible or the guru and his teachings? He answered in a undeniable way and showed me in an unmistakable, concrete fashion that he was the Way, the Truth and the Life. 

This lady is at a crossroad in her life. Now comes the hard part . Once the Lord delivers someone from spiritual bondage and they receive the Spirit that guides them into all truth, the real spiritual battle starts. Satan doesn´t like to be forced to let go of one of his victims and popular instruments through whom he can deceive millions of people. 

Please intercede for this lady, that she will see the true light, that the protective power of the Spirit and the help of angels will shield her and that the Lord will use his earthly servants to testify of his love, his grace and his mercy for her. I pray that she will have a deep hunger and thirst for the truth of the Word of God that will make her free.

Let´s remember that the Lord Jesus met Saul at the cross road of Damascus. Nothing is beyond his power to save and to accomplish his will and purpose. Amen?

Kathryn E. May… has submitted her resignation for now (reposted below), in a poignant letter to heaven and us all, about ‘the situation’…. involving the continued delays of all sorts of announcements and questionable strategies on their part… Kathryn has many feathers in her cap, that have earned her a wide respect across the multiverse… for her willingness to channel and share messages, without tainting them with her ego.  With this ability and other qualities, Kathryn has been holding retreats, seeing clients, activating Atlantis crystal in the tropics… writing books, appearing in videos, hosting a live radio show, doing channelings, answering emails… ON BEHALF OF ALL OF US!!! 
Can you imagine doing all this, and the shopping and house cleaning hehe?  Can you imagine being a spokesperson for heaven on a prison planet-type scenario?  Can you imagine receiving messages from Sananda, the returned master…. THE OFFICIAL TEACHINGS OF JESUS?  Kathryn can do more than imagine it… she has lived it.

I have noticed that some of the heavenly channels will sometimes add in little lies “on purpose” it seems… perhaps it is to see if we are truly discerning, or if we simply go on automatic once we have found a trusted source. I also expressed to heaven a while ago, that their tactic of deceiving us with their little ‘miscommunications’ like for example, using the word ‘soon’ which to us means ‘soon’ and to them it means ‘whenever it happens…. perhaps lightyears’, doesn’t sit well, since they can read our minds and know beforehand the probability of misinterpretations… whatever the reasons, I’m also tired of anyone playing games with the earthlings, let alone St. Germain and the crew  (Let’s ask Creator right now to end all the games of anyone trying to control anyone else on this planet… so be it!)… but that heaven may be using deception at this point in the game to teach the earthlings lessons, is definitely discouraging and not at all uplifting if it is happening, as if things are not challenging enough sheesh! Perhaps even heaven casts a shadow at this time on earth, but for a grand purpose that we on earth do not understand?… in admiration for Kathryn and The Company of Heaven, and with support and gratitude… further breakthroughs from the matrix of your illusions are welcomed… ideally there are millions of people actively sharing the messages from heavenly hosts that resonate, because it’s a lot of energy for one or a few people don’t you feel?… to carry that energy while the masses focus on things that are often not really imporant.  ======>  People just like you  <======== Does heaven wait for you while you wait for heaven? Keep rising above any shyness, embarassment, anger or distance you may have with heaven and heaven inside… and support those who are showing the rest how it’s done… who have already boldly gone where others do not dare to go yet… heart-to-heart Indian in the machine

Kathryn:  My Resignation

Dear Friends,
I have decided today to resign from my position as “The Voice of Mother/Father God” and “The Voice of Sananda.”  I will not be channeling messages from the Ascended Masters for the foreseeable future.  I will explain why.

For several years, I have kept my promise to channel the voices of the Company of Heaven with absolute fidelity.  I have changed not a word, not an inflection, not a bit of what they have given to me.  I add nothing and leave out nothing.  And so, the messages stand as they were given.  I do not take credit or blame, except perhaps for having been the messenger for a program that evolved, little by little, into a series of cheerleading, encouraging and repetitive messages which have turned out to be, finally, a carrot without a prize. 

I was told unequivocally that it would happen this past weekend, with details, times and specific instructions.  I was assured repeatedly that they would never again promise me something that was not to be.  I reminded them not to give me details if they are not fact.  Once again, after enormous build-up, their date came and went, with more explanations and promises.  The same ones, again.

The whole RV build-up was a way to help people envision helping one another to build a new world.  I was delighted to represent the promise of hope, peace, and prosperity which could raise all of us out of the dark control of the cabal and discover our own power to change the world.  But ultimately, it has been all about money.

The explanation was that we would beat them at their own game, take back control of our institutions, our structures of governance and our own lives, to live no longer under the yoke of the overlord, Money.  We were to do this by having more money than God, as we joked.  Perhaps this makes sense from a certain perspective – that there are some who can be entrusted with great wealth, who can buy back our freedom and our dignity.

Is this what we really need?  This promise of material riches to set us free of the brain-washing, the poverty, the misery and want that was created to keep us divided against one another and against our God? 

It has been my life’s work to help people search within themselves for the anchor to their true Center – the heart and soul connection that can free us from the brain-centered selfishness that co-opted all of us into believing we are not good enough, worthy enough unless we have great wealth.  I still believe this is the real work we need to do, to be true to the body and soul we were born with, to live a life of integrity and Love regardless of what propaganda and mind-control our brains may have been subjected to along the way.
I will continue this work, the Visual Centering that has proven so effective in helping so many to find their center, to free themselves from childhood pain and childhood programming.  This is what matters to me – to see people reach deeply into their hearts, beyond religious beliefs, beyond any teachings or philosophical arguments, to find peace with the beauty they came here to express. 

I have given notice to my beloved friends in Higher Dimensions.  I will no longer channel any messages from them because they broke their promise to me to activate the revaluation of currencies, the flood of blessings we were promised by this weekend, or I would refuse to channel anything more.  I commanded that it be done, and they accepted my declaration that this was enough, enough cheerleading, enough promises, enough explanations and seeming apologies.
  
We have done our work in good faith.  We have searched within to connect with our highest good, and it makes it impossible now to accept anything that is not pure.  Pure truth, pure Love and Light does not support manipulation or lies, not for any reason.  The end does not justify the means.  Not now.  Perhaps the months and months of encouraging messages were necessary to help us raise our vibration to accept the energies from the Central Sun.  Perhaps you were testing us to see how long we would tolerate any kind of untruth.
I for one will not tolerate it any longer.  I have promised to the dear people who have followed me and my messages that a new day is here, and it will be filled with Light and endless Love.  I will not be a part of disappointing them again, not for any reason, not for any excuse.  

On Earth as it is in Heaven?  I do not believe Heaven is a place of tricks and riddles.  Only here, in lower dimensions, do we accept half-truths and “well-meaning” white lies.  No more.  I will not be a part of helping to create a drama, a house of mirrors, a slide down the rabbit hole into upside-down rationalizations, supposedly reasonable sounding explanations and outright lies.

We are aware that God is powerful enough to intervene when the time is right to do so.  We have given our vote to request help where we would have faced the threat of assassination if we were to face down the cabal, who feel no restriction against murdering Lightworkers wholesale.  Nevertheless, we have taken them on directly before, and I for one have no reluctance about doing so if necessary, if our Friends in High Places refuse to step in as they have promised.

Perhaps that is one of the rules of the game we agreed to before coming here, that we would go it alone, without intervention from outside ourselves.  We are told we are Them, we are One, and we have the power to manifest the Paradise on Earth we were taught to envision.  If we truly believe that, then we do not need their intervention or their money (Thanks, St. Germain, but are you true to your word?).  We are the Light.

I see brilliance all around me – the rising energies of unbelievably talented and powerful individuals who graciously share their blessings, their unconquerable Light, for the benefit of all.  Do we really need more than that?  When we join with one another to make our world a better place, it does change everything. 

Why have we been promised these things that do not materialize?  Why have we been asked to believe in the face of endless disappointments?  Was it to help us, the small group of Lightworkers who truly trust in God’s good Truth, to finally accept that we need nothing more than our own strong hearts and sturdy souls?  We have been forged in the fire of hundreds of lifetimes here.  No matter how dense the Veil, we still know we deserve real support, real nourishment for our tired bodies and our souls that really are reaching for the Impossible Dream.  We will settle for nothing less.

I pledge my heart and my energy to making our world a better place.  Continuing to channel these messages no longer feels right.  I am profoundly sad to have to refuse to bring messages from those I love deeply, but I must do so for now, until we are all made aware of why this has been handled in such a strange and uncomfortable way.

Perhaps I will channel again after we have received the blessings I still hope to see manifest, but only after I have been given a clear and reasonable explanation for why we have all been dragged along with endless seemingly empty promises, until everyone is exhausted, fed up and on the verge of losing faith in the proclaimed Gods who profess endless Love.  I command that they show us the faithfulness and good will that we have given to them.  Nothing less would be fair.  Love is Light, and Light is Truth.

"Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel was never abolished. Moreover, the Quran explicitly refers to the return of the Jews to the Land of Israel before the Last Judgment when it says in the Surah of the Children of Israel, verse 104:

And thereafter We [God] said to the Children of Israel: 'Dwell securely in the Promised Land. And when the last warning will come to pass, we will gather you together in a mingled crowd.'

Therefore, from an Islamic point of view, Israel is the legitimate owner of the land God deeded to her and whose borders were defined by Abraham in Genesis.

This is an interesting article. It expresses a truth that goes even deeper than the scientists know.

Metaphysical thought processes are more deeply wired than hitherto suspected...

WHILE MILITANT ATHEISTS like Richard Dawkins may be convinced God doesn’t exist, God, if he is around, may be amused to find that atheists might not exist. Cognitive scientists are becoming increasingly aware that a metaphysical outlook may be so deeply ingrained in human thought processes that it cannot be expunged.
While this idea may seem outlandish—after all, it seems easy to decide not to believe in God—evidence from several disciplines indicates that what you actually believe is not a decision you make for yourself. Your fundamental beliefs are decided by much deeper levels of consciousness, and some may well be more or less set in stone.
This line of thought has led to some scientists claiming that “atheism is psychologically impossible because of the way humans think,” says Graham Lawton, an avowed atheist himself, writing in the New Scientist. “They point to studies showing, for example, that even people who claim to be committed atheists tacitly hold religious beliefs, such as the existence of an immortal soul.”

We've heard what the heathens say. What does the bible say?

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,g in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. (Romans 1:18-20)

Gill's Exposition of Romans 1:19 explains how even the Heathens (as Gill terms them) can have knowledge of God-

there are some things which may be known of God, without a revelation. Adam had a perfect knowledge of him; and his sons, though fallen, even the very Heathens have some notion of him, as that there is a God; and by the light of nature it might be known that there is but one God, who is glorious, full of majesty, and possessed of all perfections, as that he is all powerful, wise, good and righteous:
and this is manifest in them, or "to them"; by the light that is given them: it is light by which that which may be known of God is manifest; and this is the light of nature, which every man has that comes into the world; and this is internal, it is in him, in his mind and conscience, and is communicated to him by God, and that by infusion or inspiration;

All men have knowledge of God. But they suppress it. How do they do this, then? The article demonstrates this very thing by what the author says next:

If a tendency to believe in the reality of an intangible network is so deeply wired into humanity, the implication is that it must have an evolutionary purpose. Social scientists have long believed that the emotional depth and complexity of the human mind means that mindful, self-aware people necessarily suffer from deep existential dread. Spiritual beliefs evolved over thousands of years as nature’s way to help us balance this out and go on functioning.

'If spirituality exists, it MUST have an evolutionary purpose'. See? Not, 'if spiritualism exists in all of us, there MUST be a God." Suppressed!

Since the heathens acknowledge the truth that there is a consciousness of God and they attribute that truth to evolution, not to God, they beg the question, which is, why does man, and only man, have a sentient, self-awareness of his own being? And included in this self-awareness is his position in the universe under some Higher Being. But they do not care to answer the problem of consciousness, and with it the knowledge of a spiritual element to our existence. They simply ignore that and go on to explaining that our evolution must have generated this spiritual element in man to aid our 'existential dread.'

This existential dread has existed in man since the Fall, when we see it rearing up in Cain.

Cain and Abel

Cain had just slain his brother Abel. God is cursing Cain and pronounced the verdict of Cain's punishment upon him: Cain was to be exiled, never more work the ground successfully, and be a fugitive and a wanderer. (Gen 4:12) Cain cried out that this was more than he could bear. To wander meant that his life would be taken. God assured him that vengeance would be upon anyone who would kill Cain, and then Cain went out.

Cain knew that to wander as a fugitive meant that he would be easy prey to the obviously greatly increased population. Why dread fellow man? Why fear that he would be killed? Cain knew man was to be feared. After all, hadn't Cain just slain Abel?

From Cain's line and many that came after Cain from other lines, they knew God but they acknowledged Him not.

Yet the deep need to express ourselves under a Higher Being, or a force, or a spiritual element in our lives still existed. So they took to idols.

Idols are specifically mentioned in the bible first when Rachel took her father's household gods. (Genesis 31:9). But actually the Tower of Babel was man's first attempt to worship falsely. Cain worshiped incorrectly (by offering what he knew to be a wrong sacrifice) but not falsely. The Tower of Babel was about man trying to worship unfaithfully. (Genesis 11:4)

How soon men forget the most tremendous judgments, and go back to their former crimes! Though the desolations of the deluge were before their eyes, though they sprang from the stock of righteous Noah, yet even during his life-time, wickedness increases exceedingly. Nothing but the sanctifying grace of the Holy Spirit can remove the sinful lusts of the human will, and the depravity of the human heart. God's purpose was, that mankind should form many nations, and people all lands. In contempt of the Divine will, and against the counsel of Noah, the bulk of mankind united to build a city and a tower to prevent their separating. Idolatry was begun, and Babel became one of its chief seats. (Matthew Henry's Commentary)

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

How will we each respond to the eternity that is set in our heart? We cannot fathom the unfathomable, as Job acknowledged. (Job 42:3) But we can know what God intended us to know about Him, in the specific revelation of His word. We can also see His glory expressed through His general revelation to all men through His creation.

Idolatry is the ultimate unfaithfulness to God. We all have knowledge of Him in us. The question is, will we rightly attribute that knowledge to His planting of it, or to an impersonal universe evolving in us a mere chemical soup? The answer of course is that greatest glory is to see Him as God, Highest and Mighty. He is El Olam- The Everlasting God!

And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God. (Genesis 21:33)

I know that some Christians have an annoying tendency to see demons “behind every rock”, but I just have to say on this one, clowns already hold a major “creepy-factor” for a lot of people (not me, I used to collect clown figurines, and my first job was as a clown!) but to take something that is meant to be fun, and make it pure evil in this way, seems particularly depraved. 

I think that between the epidemic of pedophilia, and murder of babies in the womb, to this type of “celebration of all things evil” there can be no question that society as a whole has reached a depth of wickedness that God will not let go on indefinitely.

Clowns date all the way back to Egypt’s 5th Dynasty, according to Wikipedia, and the first clowns were played by priests.  Go figure!  No wonder kids are scared of them!  Everyone is familiar with the court jester of yore.  A.K.A. the fool.  The gravediggers in Hamlet were clowns, and the Harlequin, though French, is believed to have spun off of “Alchino” of Dante’s Inferno, and who can forget the confessions of the late Robin Williams, and the “spirit” that gave him his comedy, and the Joker from Batman, whose character was played by the late Heath Ledger, and Jack Nicholson’s famous quote “I warned him about playing that character”.

I don’t think it is just humans who come up with this idea of using  an icon of merriment and joy, to taint with evil.  I think devils have a sick and disturbing appetite for the most innocent, and those humans who develop that appetite, do so when their own sinful nature rejects God and becomes wide open to demonic influence.  This is a sign of the times we live in, that has largely been ignored in the news.  I thought it was telling, more so than the endless speculation about Ebola, and the purely artificially sustained “protests” in Ferguson.  Not that those things don’t matter, but they are intentional distractions. 

The fact that this spree in France involves youth, demonstrates the cynicism of the up-coming soon-to-be-adult generations, and although dressing as a clown and terrorizing people is certainly not conducive to addressing any problems, I think it is safe to say that kids are angry these days, after all, the adults have really screwed this world up that they are inheriting.  God help the generation whose movies are the Hunger Games and Divergent, which portray kids in  “every-man-for-himself, last one standing inherits the world scenarios”.  It’s a far cry from Andy Griffith and Leave it to Beaver, and only 40 years between the two!

A wave of panic sparked by evil clowns stalking French towns has spread to the south of France where police have arrested 14 teenagers dressed as the pranksters, carrying pistols, knives and baseball bats.

A police source said the group of teens were arrested in the parking lot of a high school in the port town of Agde, as several other complaints poured in over “armed clowns” in the region over the weekend.

In the Mediterranean city of Montpellier a man disguised as a clown was arrested after beating up a pedestrian with an iron bar, while three motorists in different towns complained about “scary clowns” threatening them.
The phenomenon of dressing up as an evil clown and terrifying passers-by – a trend which has also been seen in the United States and Britain – cropped up in the north of France in early October.
